The Maratakka River is located in the Nickerie district. This beautiful river has not yet been discovered by most tourists. We have a chance to see manatees, giant otters and due to the many palm trees in Mauritius, we have a good chance of seeing the blue/scarlet winged macaw!
This tour is back to basics, meaning we camp in the jungle, sleep in a hammock, and cook over a campfire. This way you can really connect with nature!
Sleep in a hammock in the middle of the jungle or choose the comfort of a bed.
With the opportunity to spot manatees, giant otters, and the impressive giant toucan, this tour offers an unforgettable adventure for nature lovers and adventure seekers looking for an authentic and intimate jungle experience.
The tour is perfect for those who want to see lots of wildlife.
