General questions​​​​​​​

When and how will I receive my travel documents or entrance tickets?

You will receive your flight ticket after your payment.
We will send the booking confirmation to the email address of the main booker.
The voucher for your entrance ticket for the tour and/or accommodation and/or rental car will be sent to the email address of the main booker after payment. You must then print this out and take it with you to the tour and/or accommodation and/or rental car, as this is your admission ticket. It is also possible to show this on your phone.

When is it certain that the reservation has not expired?

Once you have paid within 3 days of your confirmation, the date of your order is fixed. We assume that all trips and/or ordered products will continue, should the trip you have booked be canceled from Blue Bird Travel BV due to an emergency, we will inform you as soon as possible and discuss further options with you to protect your to move your booking to another date and/or you will receive a refund of the paid travel sum.

​​​​Can I bring medicines with me?

If your doctor has prescribed medicines for you, make sure you have the prescription or doctor's order with you. A medical passport is very useful and advisable to have with you.
Do not take more medicines with you during the trip than necessary for your own use. Large quantities can cause misunderstandings and problems.

What should I do if I am late for my flight or tour and they have already left?

You will receive your final boarding time and place by email in the week of departure. We ask you to keep a close eye on your email and telephone in connection with any changes to the boarding time and/or place. Please check your email again on the day of departure. You must arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before your plane departs and at your tour boarding point 15 minutes before the stated boarding time. Blue Bird Travel BV is not
liable for any missed flights and tours.

The main booker must be at least 18 years old for it
booking a flight ticket, tour, accommodation and the
renting a car (with a valid driver's license).​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​​​​​​​Are the prices quoted per person?

The stated travel price is per person, the reservation costs are calculated once per booking. Furthermore, a contribution of €37.00 per booking will be charged.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Can I reserve a specific seat?

When booking your flight ticket, you can choose your seat yourself using your booking number. We can also do that for you if you have indicated approximately where you would like to sit. We will do our utmost but cannot guarantee that the seat you require will be available. During the tour, we can pass on your wishes to the
tour operator, we cannot guarantee that either.

Change your booking?

General
If you wish to make a change to your booking, you must request the changes by email.
For every change to the purchased product, a standard €15 change fee will be charged.

Airline ticket
When rebooking the date stated on the flight ticket, the airline's rebooking costs apply. That could be with KLM and Tui. You can rebook a flight ticket up to 72 hours before departure and it costs €120 per single journey.
Changing the name on the flight ticket costs €70.

Accommodation or tour
Different conditions apply to canceling the accommodation or tour. These are stated in your reservation.

 

Cancel in general?

When purchasing airline tickets through Blue Bird Travel BV, it is mandatory to take out cancellation insurance, so that we can always help our customers in need if there are valid reasons such as the death of the customer himself or a family member from the 1st and 2nd degree. , a negative travel advice from the doctor by means of a medical certificate, negative travel advice from the country of destination due to political insecurity and

Travel documents

You are responsible for checking the validity of your passport before making your booking through Blue Bird Travel BV. We cannot be held liable for this.

This must be valid at least until after the end of the
trip. A driver's license is NOT a travel document!

Accompanying children must have their own passport or identity card. From June 26, 2012, children are also required to have their own travel document to travel (any entries in their parents' passports are no longer valid since that date).

What is VZR?

Blue Bird Travel BV is certified by VZR for package travel

Is my payment in good order?

Based on your bank statement, you can see whether the amount has been debited from your account and transferred to us. If your payment is not received on time, we will send you an email payment reminder.

Pay from abroad

Thanks to SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area), Europe has been one since 2014 common payment market.
As a result, you will no longer notice a difference between domestic and foreign payments within Europe.
If you make a payment within a SEPA country, you are alone an IBAN is required as an account number.

Finding IBAN If you transfer money abroad you need your IBAN (International Bank Account Number).
Your own IBAN is stated on your debit card and on your account statement.
The number consists of 18 letters and numbers and starts with the country code (in the Netherlands this is NL). The other person's IBAN is on the invoice or you can ask for it.

Luggage​​​​​​​

What luggage can I bring with me?

You are allowed to take 1 checked baggage per person
Unfortunately, there is no national or international regulation for the weight of suitcases and checked baggage that you can take with you. The only restriction set is that luggage must not exceed 32 kilos and 1 carry-on baggage.
Depending on the airline, you can take between 5 and 14 kilos of hand luggage with you.
Don't want to take any risks? Then you will be safe in most cases with 8 to 10 kilos of hand luggage.
The standard maximum dimensions
of hand luggage are 55x25x35 cm or 55x20x40 cm (length x width x height).

Can I bring a walker/wheelchair?

It is possible to bring a wheelchair, walker or stroller, but some rules apply:
-Auxiliary equipment must be collapsible, a
maximum dimensions of 90 x 80 x 40 cm (folded)
-There is a maximum weight of 20 kg
-You must be able to get on and off the plane and coach independently
-You should take into account that not all destinations, hotels and/or excursions are equally accessible with a wheelchair/walker.
