DIRECTIONS
During this expedition we drive to Atjoni where we go to Table Mountain by helicopter. We land near the base camp where we start the journey. There are several areas on Table Mountain to explore. In consultation with the guide in advance, we can decide what we are going to do and where we are going.

BASE CAMP
This place is located near the August fall, a high waterfall overlooking the valley. In Table Mountain it can be very foggy in the morning and evening. The base camp is an old wooden shelter built several years ago.

SOME PLACES YOU CAN EXPLORE ON TABLE MOUNTAIN

GEIJSKES AUTUMN
From the base camp we can walk in a few hours, via a relatively good path along the edge of the mountain, to the Geijskes waterfall. Along the way we pass several viewpoints. If the water level is low enough, there is an opportunity to climb to the edge of the waterfall and enjoy the beautiful view over the valley.

PLANE WRECK
An old plane wreck lies in the rocky savannah on Table Mountain. We leave the base camp early in the morning for a 4 km walk, crossing a creek and two hills and arriving on the savannah. The savannah consists of 3 rocky glades. Here you will find the old plane wreckage.

ARROWHEAD BASIN
The Tepui Mountains in themselves are amazing geological sites, but Table Mountain also features a large crater right in the middle of the mountain. This so-called 'Arrowhead Basin' is approximately four square kilometers in size. Only accessible from the northwest side. Because the basin consisted of taller primary forest, it seemed that the nature here was higher.

GRACE AUTUMN
The basin is home to Grace Waterfall. It is located at the furthest point of the basin. You have to climb a lot of rocks to finally get to the waterfall itself. It is recommended to spend a night in the area before hiking back to base camp.

MIRA VAL
Another waterfall on Table Mountain! This one is just as beautiful as the others. It is a 4 mile hike and also a climb over numerous rocks to get to the waterfall itself. It is also recommended to spend a night in the area before returning to base camp.

WAMSLEY AUTUMN
Wamsley Fall is a special waterfall that goes to some rock formations. From Geijskes to Wamsley Fall is a walk of about 2 km. This takes about 4 hours and there is a good place to set up camp near the waterfall.
